Axcent youth work in a nutshell
Youth work, conviction and dialogue. Believe it or not, it matters!
Axcent vzw organises activities and projects where young people in Brussels (aged 12 and above) can discover, explore and exchange ideas about different religions and convictions.
- Axcent gives young people a voice on conviction and dialogue in the DVD ‘ik levensbeschouw jou’ and supports them in actively working on living together in diversity in the city through the Dreamteam.
-
Axcent gives young people a taste of the convictional diversity in Brussels during visits to convictional houses or the city game BXL - Brussel eXtra Levensbeschouwelijk.
-
Axcent develops resources, methodologies and a framework for organising interconvictional dialogue with young people. Discover the international publication ‘The Power of Interfaith Dialogue’, commissioned by Salto Inclusion & Diversity.
-
Axcent supports, inspires and collaborates with various partners who are keen to work with young people on conviction and interconvictional dialogue. One example is the Carte Blanche project, in collaboration with D'Broej Peterbos.

Do you have a question, an idea, vague or concrete plans regarding philosophy of life and interfaith dialogue within your organisation? Let us know! Together we can create new opportunities for dialogue.
